Community Organizing & Collective Empowerment
We offer community organizing support for groups and communities interested in building peer leadership, strengthening collective voice, and advancing recovery-oriented change. Our approach is grounded in asset-based community development, centering lived experience, mutual support, and the strengths already present within individuals, groups, and communities.
Community organizing offerings may include:
- Support for peer-led groups and grassroots initiatives
- Identifying and building on community strengths, skills, relationships, and local resources
- Leadership development grounded in recovery-based and equity-centered practices
- Skill-building in advocacy, storytelling, and community engagement
- Guidance on creating inclusive, accessible, and sustainable peer spaces
- Collaboration with communities seeking to address systemic barriers impacting mental health and wellness
Our work begins with what communities already know and do well. We partner alongside groups to uplift existing assets, honor community knowledge, and co-create strategies that reflect the goals, values, and vision of the people most impacted.
If your group or community is exploring ways to organize, connect, or grow from its strengths to create change, we welcome you to reach out and start the conversation.
